The Teak support box has its own power supply and connects a 2TB storage drive, optical drive and four front-mounted USB 3.0 ports via an internal USB 3.0 hub. The front mounted ports can recharge devices without the computer being turned on. The computer itself is located in the Birds Eye Maple box and is fully self-contained. It could be pulled out of the enclosure while it is operating.

The modified ventilation system consists of a large inlet duct located on the bottom of the Birds Eye Maple box. An industrial grade Delta cooling fan pulls hot air out of the top of the case and exhausts it out the back of the enclosure through a screened vent duct.
